1.
5 innings is a
full game.
2.
NO 5 RUN RULE.
10 run rule will apply after 4 innings.
3.
3 full innings will be considered a full game when
weather conditions cause a game to end early.
Less than 3 full innings will result in the game being rescheduled with
the new game starting from the beginning.
4.
No inning may
start after 1hour and 30 minutes has elapsed.
5.
Coaches only
are allowed in the coach’s box at 1st and 3rd base while
on offense. All other players and
personnel will remain in the dugout.
6.
Coaches cannot
physically assist a base runner. If this
occurs the base runner will be called out and the play will be dead.
7.
Any base
runner that is touched by a hit ball while not on base is automatically out, if
the ball has not hit a defensive player first.
8.
Any batter
throwing the bat will be called out and the play dead with no runners
advancing. (1 warning per game)
9.
The play will
be dead when the pitcher has control of the ball and is on the pitching rubber.
10.
Base runners
must slide feet first on close plays at 2nd, 3rd &
home plate or they are out. (Umpires
discretion)
11.
The infield
fly rule applies.
12.
Teams must
have at least 8 players on the field to start a game or it will be considered a
forfeit. 10 Players are allowed on field (6 infield
and 4 outfield) for Minor and 9 players for Majors.
13.
Players must
play at least 3 innings. All Players are
included in the batting order.
14.
Absolutely no
jewelry is allowed to be worn by players.
15.
Pitchers may
not pitch more than 6 innings in a 7 day week.
Each pitcher will be allowed 2 extra innings when their team has a 3rd
game scheduled. THOSE 2 EXTRA INNINGS
MAY NOT BE USED UNTIL THE 3RD GAME! 1 pitch constitutes a full inning.
16.
A pitcher is
allowed only 5 warm-up pitches per inning.
17.
Steals are
allowed after the pitch crosses the plate.
A runner who leaves the base before that time will be called out. (1
warning per game)
18.
No Tobacco of
any kind will be allowed in the dugout or on the playing field.
19.
The
Home Plate Umpire has the absolute final call.

All coaches, parents, and players
are to conduct themselves as respectful citizens of Shoals at all times. We will not tolerate abusive language and
unruly conduct. We will give you one
warning, after that you will be expelled from the
