NEW FIELDS

We are currently for funding for 2 new regulation baseball fields and a complex that will be located behind the Shoals High School baseball field. They will have grass infields and pitching mounds. If you know of ANY source of funding either larger or small, please contact us asap!

Parents will be able to easily watch both fields if they have a child playing on each. The concessions and restrooms will also be centrally located.

Any business or individual interested in helping with the work or financing, please contact a SSL board member or email us.

Anyone wanting to coach next year should contact us using the link on the main page. We want to get the coaching staff in place earlier this year. All coaches from the Rookies on up must be certified. The certification test is online and we will be setting up a day for those without internet so they can take the exam. It is a very simple process and the certification study materials go over rules, basic baseball knowledge, and Cal Ripken philosophies. These are divided into sections followed by a 20 question exam.
